Over the past years sprawling developments with new Mock Victorian and Georgian single family houses have sprung up in the UK’s countryside.
Lining motorways and A-roads, these new communities are heavily reliant on car use with multiple carports attached to each house. Endless 2 or 3 bedroom units with varying pastiche architectural features curve along circular roads and cul-de-sacs reminiscing a version of England that maybe never existed. No alternative modes of transport, no solar panels in sight.
